SHIRATAKI NOODLES...Where are you hiding!!!????

Hey bloggers!

Has anyone in brisbane bought Shirataki Noodles before?? These are the ones that Pauline Nordin has been raving about- made from konjac root which are high in fibre (from glucomannon), zero carbs, low in calories, helps to regulate blood sugar and keep you full. I have tried a couple asian supermarkets but am yet to find them yet!

  1. I've had a look for these Noodles and have not been successful myself let me know if anyone does locate them!

  2. I think i will have to take a trip into chinatown...i'm so desperate to find them!!!

  3. Hanni, i found them!!!

Formosa Asian Market at Sunnybank Plaza Shopping Centre. They are packed in water in 180g or 350g plastic packets for $2.25 and $4.00. The labels in japanese but if you look on the info panel it'll say shirataki noodles. They taste pretty bland but definitely fill ya up!

  4. OK - I'll have to shoot over there - I do want to try them!
